We are looking for an experienced Payroll professional to support our transition and ongoing management of our outsourced payroll to Employment Hero and to provide administrative and coordination support to the People & Culture function. About the role Payroll Processing and Administration - As a first point of contact for employees, candidates and managers, you’ll provide responsive, accurate and proactive support across payroll, recruitment, and HR administration.
- Manage time and attendance data and support payroll processing, ensuring all inputs are accurate, compliant, and submitted correctly to Employment Hero.
- Coordinate payroll onboarding and offboarding activities including new starters, terminations and final payments.
- Process all payments through the bank including but not limited to Payroll, superannuation, payroll tax, child support, garnishees, novated leases. Ensure statutory obligations are met accurately and on time.
- Prepare payroll journals, and reporting for Finance.
People & Culture Administrative Support - Assist with maintaining HR policies, procedures, templates and intranet content.
- Provide first-level guidance to managers and employees regarding HR processes, leave entitlements and policies, escalating complex matters where required.
- Provides general HR admin support, including recruitment, compliance, onboarding, employee records, contracts, and maintaining Employment Hero as the system of record.
- Maintain integrity and accuracy of payroll and HR systems including Employment Hero and associated platforms.
Key Performance Indicators for this role: - Accurate and timely payroll processing with minimal payroll errors.
- Compliance with payroll legislation, Awards and company obligations.
- Timely completion of payroll reconciliations and reporting.
- High level of confidentiality and data integrity maintained.
- Payroll and HR enquiries responded to within agreed service timeframes.
- Successful coordination of onboarding and employment administration activities.
- Contribution to process improvements and system efficiencies.
- Positive stakeholder feedback and collaborative working relationships.
